Company News
When buyers purchase rubber sheets from China, one of the most important questions is not only the price, but also:
How long will it take to finish my order?
For rubber sheet manufacturing, there is no single production time that applies to every order. A standard rubber sheet made from an existing compound is different from a customized rubber sheet requiring a new formulation, special thickness, fabric insertion, special surface, or additional cutting. At AOCHEN, the actual production schedule is determined after the product specifications and order quantity are confirmed.
How Is the Production Time Calculated?
For a normal rubber sheet order, the manufacturing process generally includes:
Order confirmation → Raw material preparation → Rubber mixing → Calendering/forming → Vulcanization → Cutting/finishing → Quality inspection → Packaging → Container loadingEach stage has to be completed before the next one.
AOCHEN currently operates multiple manufacturing facilities with more than 95,000㎡ of manufacturing area, an Intelligent Rubber Mixing Center, 12 Rotocure production lines, 7 plate vulcanizing presses, and 4 precision cutting systems. The company's annual production capacity is approximately 36,000 tons.
Standard Rubber Sheets vS Customized Rubber Sheets
The biggest difference in production time is usually whether the required specification is already part of the factory's regular production range.
Standard Orders
Standard Rubber Sheet Orders
If you require a conventional product with an established rubber compound, standard thickness, standard width and regular surface, the factory can normally arrange production directly after the order is confirmed. For these orders, the main factors are:
- Current production schedule
- Order quantity
- Rubber material
- Required thickness
- Required width and length
- Packaging requirements
The exact production date should be confirmed by the factory according to the current production schedule.

Customized Orders
Customized Rubber Sheet Orders
Customized products usually require more preparation. For example, the order may require:
- A new rubber compound
- Special hardness
- Special color
- Special thickness
- Special width
- Fabric reinforcement
- Special surface pattern
- Special physical properties
- Customized cutting
- Special packaging
In these cases, production cannot simply be calculated from the number of days required for vulcanization. The factory may first need to confirm the formulation, raw materials, production parameters, samples or technical requirements.
Therefore, customized rubber sheets normally require more production planning than standard products.

If you want an accurate production schedule, simply asking:
"How many days for rubber sheets?"
is usually not enough.Send the factory these details:
1. Rubber material SBR / NR / NBR / EPDM / CR / Silicone / FKM, etc.
2. Thickness For example: 3 mm, 5 mm, 10 mm, 20 mm.
3. Width and length For example: 1.5 m × 10 m rolls or specified cut-sheet dimensions.
4. Hardness For example: 60 Shore A or 70 Shore A.
5. Surface Smooth, cloth impression, checker, ribbed, round dot, willow, etc.
6. Reinforcement Whether fabric insertion or other reinforcement is required.
7. Quantity KG, square meters, rolls, pieces or containers.
8. Destination and required shipping date
This is especially important if the order has a fixed project or sales deadline. With these details, the manufacturer can check production requirements and provide a much more reliable estimated schedule.
Production Time Is Only One Part of the Delivery Schedule
Another common mistake is to consider production time as the total delivery time.
For an export order, the complete process may look like:
Order confirmation → Production → Quality inspection → Packaging → Container loading → Port delivery → Sea freight → Destination customs clearance → Local delivery
Therefore, if you need the goods to arrive at your warehouse by a specific date, you should work backward from the required arrival date rather than only asking about factory production time.
Early confirmation gives the factory more time to arrange materials and production capacity.
Need to Know the Lead Time for Your Rubber Sheet Order?
The actual production time depends on your product specifications and order quantity. If you are planning a rubber sheet purchase, send us the following information:
