Loading horses and cattle onto a transport vehicle is not always easy.
Animals need to move from the ground onto a raised ramp, often in an unfamiliar environment.
If the ramp surface does not provide suitable footing, animals may hesitate, lose their balance or become more difficult to handle.
Rubber ramp mats for livestock transport provide a practical surface solution for horse trailers, cattle transporters and other livestock vehicles.
With an appropriate surface design and correct installation, they can help improve traction under hoof and make the loading area easier to maintain.

The ramp is the transition between the ground and the transport vehicle. During loading and unloading, animals must place their hooves on this surface while moving up or down an incline.A ramp that is too smooth, poorly maintained or unsuitable for the application can make this process more challenging.Rubber ramp mats are designed to provide a dedicated surface for these areas. Their textured rubber construction can help provide traction when animals move across the ramp, depending on the surface pattern and operating conditions. For horse and cattle transport operators, a suitable ramp mat can offer several practical benefits:
- A more appropriate footing surface for livestock hooves.
- A durable covering for frequently used loading ramps.
- A surface that can be cleaned as part of routine vehicle maintenance.
- An opportunity to improve an existing ramp without replacing the entire structure, where installation conditions permit.
